Addressing a meeting of BJP national office-bearers via video conference in Jaipur, Modi asked party leaders and workers to launch a campaign so that no poor, deserving beneficiary would be left out of the welfare system of the government.
“This month, the NDA government will complete eight years. These eight years were of decision and achievement. These eight years were committed to service, good governance and the welfare of the poor,” he said.
Modi said the eight-year-old was to meet the expectations of farmers, workers and the middle class.
“These eight years are dedicated to the balanced development of the country, social justice and social security. These eight years are dedicated to the empowerment of mothers, daughters and sisters,” he said.
Since 2014, the BJP government has restored faith in the people’s government, its system and its delivery mechanism, which was lost earlier, the prime minister added.
Modi said the world today is looking at India with high expectations.
“Similarly, in India, the people have a special affection for the BJP. The people of the country are looking at the BJP with great faith and hope,” he said.
After 2014, the BJP brought people out of despair and today people are full of hope, the Prime Minister said.
“This hope and aspiration of the people of the country enhances our responsibility,” he told BJP functionaries.
In the 75th year of independence, the country is setting its own goals for the next 25 years, he said, adding that it was time for the BJP to set its own goals for the next 25 years and work tirelessly for them.
Apparently, Modi told the opposition parties that some political parties were looking for small incidents of tension to poison their selfish interests.
“We will try to divert you from the development issues of the country but you have to stick with them,” he told BJP leaders and workers.
