Timex Group India Limited has appointed Deepak Chhabra as its Managing Director. In his new role, he will be responsible for determining and managing key enterprise strategies to deliver superior brands and customer experiences through innovative business plan solutions. Chhabra has been appointed managing director on the recommendation of the Timex Group Board’s nomination and remuneration committee.
Chhabra has more than 25 years of experience and has worked in the retail, lifestyle, consumer durables and sportswear industries. He has managed many portfolios, including brand management, strategic business planning, profit and loss (P&L) management, sales and merchandising. He has worked with brands such as Tupperware, Crocs, Reliance Retail, Skechers, Sprandi and many more. Prior to joining Timex, Chabra was managing director of Tupperware from early 2019, where he led the brand transformation from a direct sales company to a multichannel strategy and launched retail, e-tail and e-commerce to grow the consumer.
