Vivo X80, Vivo X80 Pro with ZEISS camera, 80W fast charging launched in India:

Vivo launched its premium photography-centric X80 series in India on Wednesday, May 18th. This series is currently booting two models, Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Both the X80 Pro and X80 were initially launched in China, then recently launched worldwide. In China, the “Pro” X80 comes in two versions, one with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the other with MediaTek’s Dimension 9000 chip. Elsewhere in India, Vivo alone is launching phones with the flagship Qualcomm chip. Powered by the standard Vivo X80 Dimension 9000. The Vivo X80 series starts at Rs 54,999 in India and will be available from May 25.

VIVO X80 PRO specs, features

The X80 Pro has a 6.78-inch 2K (1440p) E5 LTPO2 AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a hole punch cut-out in the center. It has a 32MP selfie camera. Biometrics is powered by an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

It has four cameras on the back – a 50MP primary Samsung ISOCELL GNV sensor behind an optically stable lens with f / 1.57 aperture, a gimbal-stable 2x telephoto lens with f / 1.85 aperture behind a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor on the back, another 8M A 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor on the back of an optically stable 5x periscope telephoto lens with 3.4 aperture and f / 2.2 ultraviolet lens. Thanks to Vivo’s continued partnership with the German lens maker, all cameras benefit from the Zeiss T * lens cover. The X80 Pro is known as the second-generation V1 chip, the V1 +, for more advanced night photography.

Powering the X80 Pro is a 4,700mAh battery with 80W fast wiring and 50W wireless charging support. You can also use the phone to charge other wired devices wirelessly. The software is based on Android 12 Funtouch OS 12. Rounding off the package includes IP68 water and dust resistance, dual speakers and a 27-layer VC cooling system.

The phone has four cameras on the back – a 50MP primary Sony IMX866 RGBW sensor on the back of an optically stable lens with f / 1.75 aperture, a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor on the back of a gimbal-stable 2x telephoto lens with f / 1.98 aperture. IMX663 sensor on the back of the f / 2.0 ultraviolet lens.

The X80 also comes with 80W fast wired charging support with a 4,500mAh battery (no wireless charging). Software, again, Android 12 based Funtouch OS 12.

VIVO X80, VIVO X80 PRO Price in India, Availability

The Vivo X80 will start at Rs 54,999 for a version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. A model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will give you a refund of Rs 59,999. It will come in two colors – Cosmic Black and Urban Blue.

The Vivo X80 Pr0 is priced at Rs 79,999 (12GB / 256GB) in India. It will come in cosmic black color.

The Vivo X80 and Vivo X80 Pro will be available from May 25 across Flipkart, Vivo India e-stores and Vivo partner retail stores.
